We have already planned that we will start at morning for Kodaikanal. So we started with local bus as follows to kodaikanal:
Munnar(8:00AM) to Theni – 3 hrs @ Rs 94 for 2 people
Theni to VathalaGundu – 1 hr @ Rs 30
VathalaGundu to Kodaikanal – 4 hrs @ Rs 40
So total Munnar to kodaikanal with Local Bus = 8 hrs / Rs 164 / 2 nature lover.
Really a new day with all the cool nature and her. We wake up a little late and packed the necessary things for the site-seeing. We booked private Indica for Rs 1000 (Negotiable) for Sight Seeing in Munnar. We got a small manual having four sight seeing in directions as below :
1. Mattupatty Direction
2. Coimbature Directions
3. Cochin Direction
4. Thekkady Direction
As of now we got quite disappointed, As soon as we reached redBus drop point we got auto and reached Arapalayam bus stand . We thought that we missed the direct bus to Munnar. But fortunately their was a bus at 8:00 AM directly to Munnar with ticket @ Rs. 71 per head. And we started our long and amazing 6 hour journey to Munnar. Below are some pics from 400 photos (That I clicked till Munnar). As we were moving up the Munnar station the view was getting more and more amazing and heavenly.
Our trip to Munnar was a very hectic but a amazing trip. We tried to visit as much as we can but also managed to find some peace time together :). So here are some lines that feels specials. “Explore every step, walk all roads. Hug her close, let’s nature shore you”. Our trip start point was Chennai and we moved from Madurai to Munnar by a local bus. It was a great nature experience until she started feeling that from the rock and roll ride. I tried and hugged her tight as to make her feel relaxed but all in vain. Even she took the medicine but of no use. Well lets say all her have this :P.
